Overview

Kashmir is every bit as beautiful as the photos, and this backpacking trip makes it easy to see the best of it. Over 5 Nights / 6 Days of stay, you cover the valley's big four: Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam, with breathtaking landscapes, a unique culture and plenty of room for adventure.

Your journey begins with a sleeper AC bus from Delhi to Jammu, then onward to Srinagar. From there, you head out on day trips to Gulmarg and Sonamarg, then to Pahalgam for sightseeing of Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari, which is included. Back in Srinagar, it's local sightseeing, a 1-hour Shikara ride and a night on a houseboat, before you travel back via Jammu to Delhi.

All sightseeing is by Tempo Traveller or cab depending on group size, with a tour leader throughout. You get 5 nights of accommodation on double or triple sharing and 10 meals (5 breakfasts and 5 dinners). Kashmir can be enjoyed in any season depending on what you want to do, so pick your vibe and come along.

Day-wise itinerary

01Day 1DELHI TO JAMMU
- We start our journey to the place called "HEAVEN ON EARTH - KASHMIR" from Delhi.
- Departure at around 8 pm.
- Stop for dinner at a roadside restaurant.
02Day 2JAMMU TO SRINAGAR
Arrival in Jammu & transfer to Srinagar.

Check in to your hotel.

Have your dinner & take rest for the night.
03Day 3SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After Breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg (The Meadow of Flowers).

Gulmarg has one of the most beautiful summer resort/winter Ski resorts in the valley, also the World's highest 18 Hole Golf Course.

You can have a gondola ride (excluded from the package) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg (Alt 3100 Mt.) to have a real view at natural beauty of the summer also view of Nanga Parvat (Alt. 8137 Mt.) in Cloudless Days and full snow view in winter.

Back to Srinagar and Overnight stay at hotel.
04Day 4SRINAGAR - SONMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast, proceed towards Sonmarg (Meadows of Gold).

Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley.

The drive-through here presents a spectacular face of the countryside; Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, Surrounded by pine forest mountains upto 5300 meters high.

The valley is divided by a spur of the "Thajiwas Range Mountains".

One can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.

Followed by an overnight stay at Hotel in srinagar.
05Day 5SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
- Morning after breakfast we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir.
- We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second-largest city of Anantnag.
- Visit Aru valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari (included in the package).
- Dinner and overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel.
06Day 6SRINAGAR SIGHTSEEING & HOUSEBOAT
Checkout from the hotel & proceed for srinagar sightseeing.

Visit Chashma shahi, Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden & Shankaracharya temple.

Conclude your sightseeing by visiting the beautiful Hazaratbal Mosque, known for housing the hair of Prophet Mohammed.

In evening check in your houseboat & enjoy shikara ride afterwards.

Dinner and overnight stay in Houseboat.
07Day 7SRINAGAR - JAMMU - DELHI
- After breakfast checkout from the hotel & start your journey back to Jammu.
- Reach Jammu & Later board the bus towards Delhi.

Any personal expenses like a tip to the driver, entry to monuments,
camera/video charges, laundry, telephone expenses, tips, etc.
Any cost arising due to natural calamities like land slides, road blocks etc (to
be borne directly by the guest on the spot).
