Overview

A trek weekend in the Parvati Valley: this 2 Nights / 3 Days Kasol Kheerganga group trip leaves Delhi in the evening, with pickup from Chandigarh also available. You meet the team captains and the group at the pickup point, travel overnight by Tempo Traveller and reach Kasol the next morning.

Day 1 is for Kasol: the flea market, nearby cafes and, if you like, the riverside trail to Chalal village, followed by a bonfire with light music and dinner. On Day 2 you drive to Barsheni and trek 5-6 hours up to Kheerganga for a night at the campsite. Day 3 starts with a hot water spring bath, then the trek down, a visit to Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and the evening departure. Prices start at ₹7,199 per person on quad sharing (5% GST extra).

Day-wise itinerary

00Day 0Departure from Delhi / Chandigarh
Departure in the evening to Kasol. The group assembles at the pickup point. Meet the team captains and the whole group. Halt for dinner on the way (not included).
01Day 1Reach Kasol | Explore the local market | Cafe hopping
Reach Kasol in the morning. Freshen up and relax for some time after the overnight journey. Head out for Kasol sightseeing: the Kasol flea market and nearby cafes. You can also explore Chalal village, a small riverside trail of 3 km both ways. Return to the stay, where a bonfire with light music is set up. Dinner and overnight stay in Kasol.
02Day 2Kheerganga | Trek from Barsheni | Camping under the stars
Wake up early and have breakfast. Check out and leave for Barsheni, the base point for the Kheerganga trek. Trek to Kheerganga top (5-6 hours from Barsheni) and reach in the evening. Hot dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.
03Day 3Trek down | Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara | Departure
Wake up early and go for a hot water spring bath. Have breakfast, then start trekking down to Barsheni. Reach Barsheni in the evening. Transfer to Manikaran and visit Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara. Depart in the evening and reach the next day.

Cancellation Policy

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Things to know

Reporting point

Departure is in the evening from Delhi. The exact pickup point and time are shared once your booking is confirmed. Pickup from Chandigarh is also available.

Extra mattresses are provided for triple and quad sharing.
Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

Departure is in the evening from Delhi. The exact pickup point and time are shared once your booking is confirmed. Pickup from Chandigarh is also available. You travel overnight and reach the hills the next morning.

How much does the Kasol Kheerganga Trek trip cost?

₹7,199 per person on quad sharing, ₹7,699 on triple sharing and ₹8,199 on double sharing. 5% GST is extra.

What is included?

1 night stay in Kasol and 1 night camp stay in Kheerganga, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, transfers in a Tempo Traveller, all sightseeing mentioned in the itinerary, the Kheerganga trek, a bonfire with light music and a trip captain. Dinner on the journey from Delhi is not included.

How long is the Kheerganga trek?

The trek starts from Barsheni on Day 2 and takes 5-6 hours to reach Kheerganga top, where you arrive in the evening. You trek back down to Barsheni on Day 3.

Where do we stay?

The first night is a stay in Kasol and the second night is at a campsite in Kheerganga. Extra mattresses are provided for triple and quad sharing.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?

A valid government-approved photo ID is a must: there is no boarding without it. Also pack comfortable clothes, sports or trekking shoes, a warm layer for the season, personal medicines and some cash. The full list is under Things To Pack.
