Overview

Two kinds of calm in one weekend: this 1 Night / 2 Days group trip pairs the views of Mukteshwar with a visit to Kainchi Dham. You leave Delhi at night from Vaishali Metro Station (reporting 10:30 PM) and arrive in Mukteshwar the next morning.

Day 1 has a short 1.5 km hike to a local waterfall, then Chauli ki Jali and the Mukteshwar Temple, and ends with a bonfire, music and dinner at your Swiss camp or room. Day 2 visits Kainchi Dham, followed by sightseeing in either Nainital or Bhimtal, before the bus leaves for Delhi at 9:00 PM. Prices start at ₹5,199 per person on quad sharing (5% GST extra).

Board the bus or traveller from Vaishali Metro Station, Delhi. Reporting time: 10:30 PM.
01Day 1Arrival in Mukteshwar
Morning: arrive in Mukteshwar and check in to your camps or rooms. Afternoon: a short 1.5 km hike to a local waterfall. After the hike, visit Chauli ki Jali and the Mukteshwar Temple, known for their views and cultural significance. Evening: return to your stay for a bonfire and music session. Dinner, followed by an overnight stay.
02Day 2Adventure, Kainchi Dham and sightseeing
Morning: after breakfast, check out and try the adventure activities (at your own cost). Afternoon: visit Kainchi Dham. Later, proceed to either Nainital or Bhimtal for leisurely sightseeing. Evening: depart for Delhi at 9:00 PM. Next day, early morning: arrival in Delhi.

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

Where and when does the trip start?

You board the AC bus or traveller at Vaishali Metro Station, Delhi. Reporting time is 10:30 PM on the departure night, and you reach the hills the next morning.

How much does the Mukteshwar and Kainchi Dham trip cost?

₹5,199 per person on quad sharing, ₹5,399 on triple sharing and ₹5,599 on double sharing. 5% GST is extra.

When do we visit Kainchi Dham?

On Day 2, in the afternoon, after breakfast and check-out. The group then goes on to either Nainital or Bhimtal for sightseeing and leaves for Delhi at 9:00 PM.

What is included?

Round-trip transfers from Delhi, 1 night in Swiss camps or rooms, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner and an evening high tea, sightseeing as per the itinerary, a bonfire and music evening, and a trip captain.

Are adventure activities included?

No. Adventure activities on Day 2 are optional and paid for separately, as are entry tickets and personal expenses.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?

A valid government-approved photo ID is a must: there is no boarding without it. Also pack comfortable clothes, sports or trekking shoes, a warm layer for the season, personal medicines and some cash. The full list is under Things To Pack.
