Overview

A Parvati Valley backpacking trip: this 3 Nights / 4 Days Kasol, Kheerganga & Tosh group trip leaves Delhi in the evening in an AC push-back vehicle and reaches Kasol the next morning. There is a dinner halt on the way, at your own cost.

Day 1 is for the Kasol market and cafes, an evening hike to Chalal village and a bonfire at the stay. Day 2 is the Kheerganga trek, a 12 km trail from Barsheni, ending with dinner by a bonfire and a night in camps. Day 3 treks back down to Barsheni and drives to Tosh village for a guest house stay. Day 4 has a hike to a nearby waterfall before the return to Kasol and the overnight journey to Delhi. Prices start at ₹9,999 per person on triple sharing (5% GST extra).

Day-wise itinerary

00Day 0Departure to Kasol in the evening
Depart for Kasol in the evening. Overnight journey in an AC push-back vehicle. Halt for dinner on the way (not included).
01Day 1Reach Kasol | Local market | Chalal village | Cafe hopping
Reach Kasol by morning and check in. Leisure time: explore the Kasol market, try the local cafes or relax by the Parvati River. In the evening, hike to Chalal village for views of Parvati Valley. Spend time at the cafes in Kasol, then return to the stay for a bonfire. Overnight stay in Kasol.
02Day 2Transfer to Barsheni | Kheerganga trek | Camping
Wake up early and, after breakfast, head for Kheerganga. Transfer in private vehicles to Barsheni, where the trek starts. The Kheerganga trail is 12 km, with a moderate difficulty level. Walk through Parvati Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Reach the Kheerganga campsite and have dinner by the bonfire. Overnight stay in camps.
03Day 3Trek down to Barsheni | Transfer to Tosh
After breakfast, trek down to Barsheni. Drive to Tosh village. Hike through the village to reach the guest house. Dinner and bonfire.
04Day 4Waterfall hike | Return to Kasol | Departure
After breakfast, hike to the nearby waterfall and spend some time there. Trek down and return to Kasol. Head back to Delhi. Reach Delhi by the next morning.

Cancellation Policy

When you cancel	Refund
More than 10 days before the travel date	50% of the advance
5 to 10 days before the travel date	25% of the advance
Less than 5 days before the travel date	No refund

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Things to know

Reporting point

Departure is in the evening from Delhi. The exact pickup point and time are shared once your booking is confirmed.

Early check-in at the stay is subject to availability.
Extra mattresses are provided for triple sharing.
AC will not work in hilly areas.
Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

₹9,999 per person on triple sharing and ₹10,499 on double sharing. 5% GST is extra.

3 nights of accommodation as per the itinerary, 6 meals (3 breakfasts and 3 dinners), transfers to and from Delhi in an AC tempo traveller or AC deluxe bus, sightseeing as per the itinerary, a bonfire with music and a trip captain.

How long is the Kheerganga trek?

The Kheerganga trail is 12 km, with a moderate difficulty level. It starts from Barsheni on Day 2, and you trek back down to Barsheni on Day 3 after a night in camps.

Where do we stay?

The first night is in Kasol, the second night is in camps at Kheerganga and the third night is in a guest house in Tosh village.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?

A valid government-approved photo ID is a must: there is no boarding without it. Also pack comfortable clothes, sports or trekking shoes, a warm layer for the season, personal medicines and some cash. The full list is under Things To Pack.
