Overview

A group trip to Shri Kedarnath from Delhi: this 3 Nights / 4 Days trip leaves Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi around 9 PM and travels overnight to Guptkashi.

Day 1 follows the Devprayag and Rudraprayag route to Guptkashi, with a visit to the Ardh Narishwar temple and a hotel stay. Day 2 is the drive to Sonprayag, a local jeep to Gaurikund and the 19-20 km trek to Kedarnath, where you visit the shrine and stay the night; a helicopter is the other option, at your own cost. Day 3 returns to Sonprayag and Guptkashi after the morning pooja. Day 4 is the drive back to Delhi after breakfast. Prices start at ₹11,499 per person on quad sharing (5% GST extra).

Day-wise itinerary

00Day 0Departure from Delhi
Report at the departure point and meet our representative. Leave Akshardham Metro Station, Delhi around 9 PM. Overnight journey from Delhi to Guptkashi.
01Day 1Reach Guptkashi
Drive up to Guptkashi via the Devprayag and Rudraprayag route, with views of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Visit the Ardh Narishwar temple at Guptkashi and offer prayers. Check in to the hotel and rest for the night.
02Day 2Gaurikund to Kedarnath trek (19-20 km)
After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. Take a local jeep from Sonprayag to Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek. Trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (19-20 km). The other way to reach the shrine is by helicopter (cost not included); you are dropped at the helipad in the morning after breakfast. Tell the driver how long your trek or flight will take, so he can park and pick you up the next day. Visit the shrine and spend some time at the dham. Check in to a hotel for the night.
03Day 3Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After the morning pooja and breakfast, check out of the hotel. Return from Kedarnath by the same route and take a local jeep to Sonprayag. The driver picks you up at the pre-decided place for the drive back to Guptkashi. Check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest.
04Day 4Guptkashi to Delhi
After breakfast, start the journey back to Delhi. The trip ends in Delhi.

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Pickup points

AC will not work in hilly areas.
Sightseeing is covered as far as the time frame allows.
Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

Can I take a helicopter instead of trekking?

Yes, but helicopter tickets are not included in the package. If you choose the helicopter, you are dropped at the helipad in the morning after breakfast. Porters or mules for luggage are also extra, at ₹350 per day per bag of up to 12 kg.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?
