A trek weekend above McLeodganj: this 2 Nights / 3 Days McLeodganj Triund group trip leaves Delhi in the evening. You assemble at the pickup point, meet the team captain and the group, and travel overnight in an AC deluxe vehicle.

Day 1 is McLeodganj: hotel check-in, the flea market, Bhagsu waterfall and cafes. On Day 2 you trek to Triund, reach in the evening and stay in camps. The trek is listed as 9 km, with a height of 9,350 ft and an easy to moderate difficulty level. Day 3 is the trek down, followed by Dalai Lama Monastery, Dharamshala stadium and the tea gardens before the evening departure. Prices start at ₹7,199 per person on quad sharing (5% GST extra).

Departure in the evening. Assemble at the pickup point. Meet the team captain and the group. Halt for dinner on the way (not included).
01Day 1McLeodganj sightseeing | Bhagsu waterfall | Cafe hopping
Reach McLeodganj and check in at the hotel. Freshen up and rest for some time. Explore the McLeodganj flea market. Visit Bhagsu waterfall and cafes. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
02Day 2Trek to Triund top | Camping under the stars
Freshen up and have breakfast. Set off on the Triund trek. Reach Triund in the evening and check in at the camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps.
03Day 3Trek down | Dharamshala exploration | Departure
Wake up early and have breakfast. Start trekking down to McLeodganj. Reach McLeodganj and visit Dalai Lama Monastery, Dharamshala stadium and the tea gardens. Depart in the evening.

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Things to know

Reporting point

Departure is in the evening from Delhi. The exact pickup point and time are shared once your booking is confirmed.

Extra mattresses are provided for triple and quad sharing.
Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

₹7,199 per person on quad sharing, ₹7,699 on triple sharing and ₹8,199 on double sharing. 5% GST is extra.

How long and how hard is the Triund trek?

The itinerary lists the trek distance as 9 km, the trek height as 9,350 ft and the difficulty level as easy to moderate. You trek up on Day 2, reaching Triund in the evening, and trek down to McLeodganj on Day 3.

Where do we stay?

The first night is in a hotel in McLeodganj and the second night is in camps at Triund. Extra mattresses are provided for triple and quad sharing.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?

A valid government-approved photo ID is a must: there is no boarding without it. Also pack comfortable clothes, sports or trekking shoes, a warm layer for the season, personal medicines and some cash. The full list is under Things To Pack.
