Overview

A long weekend across three stops in Himachal Pradesh: this 3 Nights / 4 Days McLeodganj, Triund and Bir group trip leaves Delhi in the evening, with pickup from Chandigarh as well. It is an overnight journey to McLeodganj with a dinner halt on the way (dinner at your own cost).

Day 1 is in McLeodganj: the flea market, Bhagsu waterfall, the Dalai Lama Monastery and the cafes, with a night in a hotel. Day 2 is the Triund trek, ending with a night in camps at Triund. Day 3 treks back down and drives to Bir via the Dharamshala HPCA stadium, Palampur tea garden and Baijnath temple, with a bonfire in the evening. Day 4 is for Bir Billing, where paragliding is available at extra cost, before the evening departure. Transport, three nights of stay, 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners are included. Prices start at ₹9,999 per person on triple sharing (5% GST extra).

Day-wise itinerary

00Day 0Departure from Delhi / Chandigarh
Departure in the evening. Overnight journey to McLeodganj. Halt for dinner on the way (not included).
01Day 1McLeodganj exploration | Dalai Lama Monastery
Reach McLeodganj, check in to the hotel and freshen up. After some rest, explore the McLeodganj flea market. Visit Bhagsu waterfall, the Dalai Lama Monastery and the cafes. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
02Day 2Triund trek | Camping
Freshen up and have breakfast. Start the Triund trek. Triund sits in the Dhauladhar mountains, with the Dhauladhar range on one side and the Kangra valley on the other. Reach Triund in the evening and check in to the camps. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps.
03Day 3Triund to Bir
Have breakfast and trek down. Collect your luggage from the hotel. Leave for Bir, visiting the Dharamshala HPCA stadium, Palampur tea garden and Baijnath temple on the way. Reach Bir in the evening and check in to the homestay. Enjoy a bonfire with some light music. Dinner and overnight stay at Bir.
04Day 4Bir Billing | Paragliding | Departure
Wake up early and have breakfast. Head towards the Billing paragliding take-off site (paragliding costs extra). The flight takes off from Billing and lands in Bir, and takes around 15 to 30 minutes. Spend some time enjoying the views in Bir. Departure in the evening, followed by an overnight journey back.

Cancellation Policy

5 to 10 days before the travel date	25% of the advance
Less than 5 days before the travel date	No refund

No refund for no-shows or early check-outs.
Meals, activities or services you don't use aren't adjusted or refunded.
If a trip is cancelled because of political unrest, government guidelines, extremely poor weather or unsafe conditions, you get a full credit (equal to the amount paid) to use on any future Travel Devils booking, not a cash refund.

Reporting point

Departure is in the evening from Delhi. The exact pickup point and time are shared once your booking is confirmed. Pickup from Chandigarh is also available.

Early check-in at the stay is subject to availability.
Extra mattresses are provided for triple sharing.
AC will not work in hilly areas.
Paragliding at Bir Billing is optional and costs extra.
Carry a valid government-approved photo ID. There is no boarding without it.
The departure time is fixed. Keep your phone reachable and update your trip coordinator; they will try calling you, but we can't hold the bus.
Smoking isn't allowed on the bus.
The itinerary can change because of weather, road conditions or safety. All sightseeing is subject to weather and local authority guidelines.
On hill roads the driver may switch off the AC or sound system. Safety comes first.
Travel insurance isn't included. We recommend buying it before the trip.
Any increase in entry fees, taxes or fuel costs by the government after booking is charged extra.
Extra costs from delays outside our control (natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, road closures) are borne by travellers.
Damage to room or camp furnishings is payable by the guest responsible.

How do I book and pay?

Reserve your seat by paying 50% of the trip cost, and pay the rest at least 4 days before the trip. 5% GST is added to the price.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 10 days before the travel date and 50% of the advance is refunded; 5 to 10 days before, 25% of the advance; less than 5 days before, there is no refund. There is no refund for no-shows or early check-outs.

What do I need to carry?

A valid government-approved photo ID is a must: there is no boarding without it. Also pack comfortable clothes, sports or trekking shoes, a warm layer for the season, personal medicines and some cash. The full list is under Things To Pack.
